MEMBERSHIP STANDARDS, APPROVAL & ONBOARDING

The IA FORUM is a highly curated, invitation-only community. Membership consideration may occur through direct invitation, member or Advisory Board referral, or by requesting to join the community.

Membership Standards & Evaluation

The IA FORUM maintains a highly curated, vendor-free professional ecosystem designed to support high-quality peer collaboration, practitioner-driven dialogue, and meaningful industry relationship building across enterprise AI, intelligent automation, technology, and digital & business transformation.

Membership is selectively extended to professionals whose backgrounds, professional accomplishments, leadership experience, scope of responsibilities, industry reputation, subject matter expertise, and overall alignment support the standards and objectives of the IA FORUM community model.

The evaluation process is designed to preserve the highly curated, collaborative, trusted, and high-caliber nature of the IA FORUM community while ensuring members have opportunities to engage with accomplished peers, exchange meaningful insights, and build valuable long-term professional relationships.

Technology professionals working in sales, marketing, business development, or client-facing job roles at vendor organizations are not eligible for membership.

Membership Categories & Alignment

  • Core Members - C-Suites and senior-level technology and functional area executives.
  • Surge Members - Accomplished professionals and rising stars below Director level, and/or individual contributors.
  • C-Suite Council Members - Executives with “Chief” in their technology or functional area job titles.
  • Women In Technology Members - Female professionals within technology and across all career levels.
  • Advisory Board Members & Community - C-Suites and senior-level technology & functional area executives.
  • Team & Enterprise Memberships - Corporate, departmental, L&D, and Total Rewards membership programs designed for organizations seeking to provide enterprise-focused learning and professional development opportunities to their workforce.

Membership Approval Process

Membership consideration may occur through direct invitation, member or Advisory Board referral, or by requesting to join the community.

All membership requests and nominations are reviewed by the Founder to ensure alignment with the IA FORUM’s community standards, member profiles, and professional focus areas.

Member Onboarding Experience

The IA FORUM's robust, highly personalized member onboarding experience is designed to help new members immediately integrate into the community and begin engaging with peers, content, events, and collaboration opportunities.

Following membership approval and registration, new members receive guided onboarding support, community introductions, platform access, and personalized member-to-member engagement opportunities tailored to their professional background, interests, and focus areas.

The onboarding process also includes introductions across relevant member groups, access to community platforms and resources, event participation, and visibility initiatives designed to help members establish meaningful connections within the broader IA FORUM ecosystem.

New member engagement begins immediately upon onboarding completion.
