An Unfiltered Conversation with Enterprise Technology Leaders

An “Open Network” public virtual event, hosted by the IA FORUM.

The Model Is a Commodity. Context Is the Asset.

Artificial Intelligence is changing faster than most organizations can keep up. New models emerge every month, capabilities evolve constantly, and leaders are under pressure to define their AI strategy. Yet many organizations are asking the wrong question.

In this episode, we explore why AI readiness is not fundamentally a technology challenge but an enterprise transformation challenge. While models are becoming increasingly commoditized, context remains unique. An organization's competitive advantage no longer comes from access to AI alone. It comes from the quality of its data, the clarity of its business definitions, the strength of its governance, the depth of its institutional knowledge, and the ability of its workforce to apply human judgment responsibly.

Drawing from decades of experience in enterprise transformation, automation, data strategy, and AI enablement, we discuss why AI is exposing long-standing organizational weaknesses, why context is becoming the most valuable enterprise asset, and what leaders must do today to build organizations that can evolve as technology changes.

The conversation explores a simple but powerful idea…the future belongs to organizations that own their context and rent their intelligence.

Topics of discussion will include, yet will not be limited to:

  • Why AI readiness is an enterprise transformation challenge, not simply a technology investment, and how leaders can identify and overcome organizational barriers to adoption
  • How organizations can turn proprietary data, institutional knowledge, and business context into sustainable competitive advantages as AI models become increasingly commoditized
  • The critical role of data governance, business definitions, accountability, and human expertise in building trustworthy, scalable, and enterprise-wide AI capabilities
  • What enterprise leaders must prioritize today to future-proof their organizations, accelerate AI adoption, empower their workforce, and deliver measurable business value
