MEMBERSHIP APPROVAL & NEW MEMBER ONBOARDING PROCESS

Approval Process

The IA FORUM is an invitation-only, exclusive community. That said, there are several ways to be considered for membership.

• Invited by the IA FORUM: Which equates to being pre-approved for membership
• Request to Join: Contact Jules Miller so she can determine if you qualify for a membership plan. She’ll get back to you to let you know the status of your membership request
• Nominated by a Current IA FORUM Advisory Board or Member: Upon review of your background, Jules will let you and your internal or external colleague - or friend - that has nominated you for membership know if you’ve been approved for a membership plan

NEW Member Onboarding Projects & Process

Once your membership registration and payment are complete, the below NEW member onboarding projects will be completed within 2 - 5 days

• Welcome Letter: You’ll immediately receive a Welcome email - which goes over how to set up your IA FORUM online account; learn about and register for events; access the IA FORUM’s internal and external insights, content, event videos & PPTs; and the full YouTube Channel

• IA FORUM Advisory Board Website Page: If you decide to join an Advisory Board, you’ll be added to the website page that corresponds to the Advisory Board you have joined

• LinkedIn IA FORUM New Member Postcard & Post Announcement: The IA FORUM will create a visually appealing postcard and enticing post copy that highlights your professional background and welcomes you to the IA FORUM. Your postcard & post will be shared on the IA FORUM’s various LinkedIn accounts. You’ll also receive a copy so you can also share on your LinkedIn account. If you decide to join an Advisory Board, your postcard/post will reflect your Advisory Board status

• Member 1:1 Introductions & Matchmaking: You’ll immediately be introduced to 20+ members that make sense for you to connect and engage with - via LinkedIn 1:1 Group Chat messages

• Introduction to LOCAL Members: You’ll be introduced to members that live near you - via the IA FORUM LinkedIn LOCAL Members' Group Chat Rooms

• IA FORUM Slack Workspace & Channels: Your account will be set up so you can immediately start engaging with the IA FORUM community and other community members. If you decide to join an Advisory Board, you'll also be added to the Advisory Board networking channel

• IA FORUM Slack Introduction: You’ll be introduced to the community via the IA FORUM Slack Workspace/Channels - with your NEW member postcard/post copy being utilized for your introduction. If you decide to join an Advisory Board, you'll also be introduced in the Advisory Board channel

• You Can Immediately Start Attending Events: Once you create a new password for your IA FORUM online account, you’ll immediately be able to register for - and attend IA FORUM events
